Play Time Workshop

Having a newborn is a very exciting, amazing, stressful, exhausting and overwhelming experience ... but whether it is something to treasure...or get through ... it will pass very quickly.

Your little one will achieve some amazing things during their early years. About 15% of a baby's brain is developed at birth ... almost all of the remaining development takes place over the next three years. A HUGE learning curve ... and a wonderful opportunity!

There are some very simple ways to support your baby in their early development; many of which parents do instinctively. Warm physical contact and nurturing is absolutely essential ... all the more reason for those lovely cuddles! Purposeful interactive play is also an invaluable part of supporting your baby in their development.

Nicola Woollaston offers PLAY TIME, small group or individualized sessions to support interactive parenting; providing fabulous, fun and beneficial ideas and activities for you and your baby ... play with purpose! Nicola will also provide guidelines and tips for selecting toys for your bright wee spark; focusing on high quality, good value toys that are developmentally appropriate and adaptable.

PLAY TIME includes:

• A practical, hands on small group or individual session tailored for specific age groups (birth to 6 months, 6-12 months, 12-18 months, 18-24 months)
• Overview of development relating to your babies current age & stage ... and a little about what to expect next!
• Simple effective ideas and activities that support milestones for each area of development
• Tips and tricks for selecting new toys, and how to add value by adapting play to extend the life of your toys. Examples will be provided.
• A selection of our top toys will be made available for purchase at a special price during each session.
• Morning or afternoon tea

There is a flat fee of $160.00 for a two hour PLAY TIME session. You may decide that you would like to have individualized support - or group together with other mum's with babies of a similar age and share the cost. We focus on providing high quality small group or personalized services. To ensure that we meet your needs we will limit the class size to a maximum of 8 babies.

PLAY TIME is a fabulous idea for coffee groups! We will come to you and bring morning tea! What a great way to play and learn ... and learn to play!
